Winery located in the region of Liébana, surrounded by the Picos de Europa, an area where the ancestral winemaking tradition that had been lost has been recovered.
This mountain vineyard has a unique microclimate and terroir that gives these wines a strong personality.
It is now the largest mountain vineyard in this region, under the resounding peaks of Peña Sagra, with excellent south orientation and some 12,000 vines of Mencía, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer.
The predominant native grape variety is Mencía, with splendid centenary vineyards of this highly valued and exclusive grape variety, which is only found in our area and in Galicia and León. However, other varieties such as Syrah and Gewürztraminer have adapted very well, providing particular touches to these wines.
With a small production of white wine, the most important part is the reds.
