Bodegas Vidular is located in Vidular, in the Junta de Voto, in the eastern part of Cantabria. It is the family dream of the Durán family.
At the beginning of the project, in 1999, his objective was to find an estate close to the coast and with a traditional construction in order to convert it into a winery and make high quality wines near the coast.
The main building of the farm is a mountain house more than 200 years old, which has been gradually converted into a dining room and rural lodging.
The project started with 5 hectares of vineyards, but is now expanding and moving closer to the coast, planting another 4 hectares of vineyards in Castillo 7 Villas and the 3 hectares of vineyards in Noja.
The grape varieties used at Bodegas Vidular are Chardonnay, Albariño and Treixadura, with which they make two white wines and three types of orujo.
